Make Sure You’re Connected!

We have a lot planned for 2026. In the upcoming months you’ll be getting a lot of info from us! Make sure you’re connected so you don’t miss anything. The best ways to stay up to date are by making sure you read the monthly “Fleur De Lis” newsletter, by checking the MSAA website, and by following us on social media.

We’ve also recently upgraded our sending mechanism for emails. Many people were not receiving our newsletter because it was automatically blocked by their provider. If you weren’t previously getting our emails, you should be now! Thank you to Wayne Reynolds for purchasing this upgrade for us that will allow us to improve our messaging!

Preparation for the 2026 DCI season has begun. A look ahead…

What is the MSAA up to in 2026?

  • Legacy Shirts fundraiser (Starting soon) - You create designs, we vote on a winner, and everybody wears it! We also donate a shirt to every member of the corps.
  • Whitewater (July 11th) - We’ll be having a reunion near the show site to all get together, have some food and drinks, and celebrate the Madison Scouts. Then at the show, MSAA volunteers will be running concessions and holding a 50/50 raffle to raise money for the corps!
  • San Antonio (July 17th) - Madison Scouts alumni will feed the corps a fantastic BBQ meal, Texas style, before the San Antonio regional to make sure they’re ready to have a great show!
  • Drums on Parade (July 24th) - The longest running show in DCI is at Mansfield Stadium this year. The MSAA will be hosting a tailgate near the show and holding the Madison Scouts Hall of Fame Ceremony. Don’t miss it! At the show, volunteers will be operating concessions and running a 50/50 raffle to raise money. This is our busiest day of the year!
  • Allentown (August 1st) - Madison Scouts alumni will help feed the corps an East Coast meal to prepare them for the Allentown regional and push them through to the end of the season!
  • Indianapolis (August 7th) - Join the MSAA and FPA board of directors in thanking the family members of the corps for trusting the Madison Scouts with their summer. We’ll have lunch, share stories, and celebrate the end of the 2026 DCI season. Plus, directly after the Madison Scouts’ Semi-Finals performance, head out to the corps lot to sing Never Walk and officially welcome the new age-outs to the Alumni Association. All alumni are encouraged to join us.

How can you get involved?

To make all of our projects happen, we’ll need your help! The Madison Scouts wouldn’t exist without volunteers and alumni support. We all need to come together to do our part!

Please consider volunteering with us, either on a committee or at an event! Whether you’re involved in helping brainstorm fundraiser ideas, helping create our social media posts, or serving pretzels at a concessions stand, we’re all doing everything we can to support the corps we love.

f you want to volunteer with the MSAA, please fill out a volunteer form now to let us know we can count on your help!

A final quick note…

Thank you to everybody who supported our fundraiser last month by eating at Panda Express on the 17th! This restaurant fundraiser was a test to see how this kind of fundraiser would work for our group, and all signs show that it was a success! Let us know what restaurant you’d like to see as a future fundraising event.

Everybody give a HUGE thank you to Jorge Franco for getting this set up.
